Well, I am going to try this again... Coaching is just way to... interesting? To not share some of the craziness I have gone through in this, my first season coaching Varsity basketball, would be a disservice to you, the people.
I have coached at pretty much every level- from 3rd graders that could hardly dribble, to NAIA college ball. After two years at the College level, disillusioned by poor administrators and just worn out over the grind of traveling, recruiting, et al, I jumped at an offer to coach a Varsity team and build a program- something I have always wanted to do.
I definitely should have started this blog earlier, but we will jump in now, with just two league games to go and my squad sitting solidly in the middle of the pack league wise, but in great shape for the post season. I will look to share stories of games, practices, and most entertaining of all, the parents. Because some of them are all kinds of crazy.
